I love all the door stop patterns, the pattern is very good and easy to follow and they work up quite quickly. I made the pig, showed it to my mum, she kept it! I have made 2 pigeons and 2 chickens and I’m now making the toadstool. All my friends want one!

  3. Karen (verified owner)

Love love love all the door stop patterns. Easy to follow and quick to make up.. so far I’ve made one for me, one for a friend and my mum wants one

Absolutely loved doing these door stops the pattern was easy to follow and beautifully explained. I was thinking of giving them as Christmas presents but now I’m keeping them as a group, seems a shame to split them. Guess I’m going to be doing some more.

I’m never great at following a pattern to the letter (still class myself as a beginner) but Cottontail and Whiskers patterns are so easy to follow with lots of pictures to help guide you through, I cannot recommend highly enough. The patterns are quirky and so creative, I LOVE them all!!! My end results can differ slightly but then it wouldn’t be right to not add your own twist 😉

    Fabulous Chicken

I made this for my sister in law and she loves it so much she wants me to make one that is HUGE as a pillow. I struggled a little on the beak (because I don’t have the right yarn or the right sized yarn) so my beak is made of felt, but I still think he looks ADORABLE. I made the eyes a bit larger because it made me laugh. 🙂

    Pearl the Parrot doorstop

A straightforward but fun pattern which worked up really quickly. The only thing I’d wish to be different is if the wings had separate patterns that were the opposite of each other so that the feathers on both sides of the body pointed in the same direction. Lovely make though, and looks great holding open my door.
