Did you Know?

In Britain the term pig refers to all domestic swine, while in the United States it refers to younger swine not yet ready for market and weighing usually less than 82 kg (180 pounds), others being called hogs.

You Won’t Know, but…

During one particular road trip to the North East of England, Whiskers persuaded Cottontail that peasants rode on the back of Saddleback pigs during the Middle Ages as they couldn’t afford horses, hence the name. (I wonder how long it’ll be before she realises that I included this).

The cutest piggy pattern I’ve ever seen! The pattern was easy to follow and reasonably quick to make. I love the idea of making a space to attach the safety eyes so much easier to place them - especially with the larger eyes. I can’t wait to make more.

I'm afraid I can never do Bea's patterns the justice they deserve. She has the most amazing mind ever! I did my big girl and finished off with what I had on hand.
I struggled with getting the nose wrinkles done correctly. User error as this was the first pattern I've done like this. The next will be easier.
Such a great pattern, as are all her patterns.
